Terms and Conditions

This website, including any associated platforms and social media channels, is owned and operated by Mamalyn Catering, trading under LPT Corp Pty Ltd (“Mamalyn”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our website, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. About Us

Mamalyn Catering is a Melbourne-based catering business specialising in event catering, food platters and boxes, and buffet table styling.

2. Use of This Website

By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms. While we aim to keep information accurate, we do not guarantee that all content (including product descriptions, prices, and availability) is up to date or error-free. Content and Terms may be updated without notice.


3. Services Provided

We offer:

  • Corporate Catering: Meetings, staff lunches, and events with delivery and dietary options.

  • Food Boxes & Platters: Ready-to-serve packages for parties, birthdays, picnics, and casual events.

  • Buffet Table Styling: Self-service setups for weddings, birthdays, and events, including props, platters, and warmers.

Note: Plates, cutlery, and napkins are not supplied unless ordered as add-ons.


4. Ordering & Payment

  • Orders can be made via www.mamalyn.com.au, email (hello@mamalyn.com.au), or phone.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings.

  • Orders are confirmed only once payment is received.

  • Payments are accepted by bank transfer, website checkout, or as per invoice.

  • Full payment must be received before the event unless agreed in writing.


5. Pricing & Delivery Fees

  • All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may change without notice due to supplier or market costs.

  • Minimum order amounts may apply.

  • Delivery fees are based on distance from our kitchen in St Albans, VIC.

  • Pick-up is available upon request.

  • Deliveries may arrive up to 1 hour earlier than scheduled; please allow a 30–45 minute buffer.


6. Delivery, Set-Up & Props

  • Customers must notify us of stairs or restricted access.

  • Catering is self-service — staff are not provided.

  • Buffet props, platters, and warmers must be returned clean and undamaged within 3 days. Cleaning fees or replacement charges may apply.

  • Post-event collection can be arranged for an additional fee.


7. Allergens & Food Safety

  • Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, seafood, and other allergens.

  • We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

  • Customers with allergies must notify us in writing before ordering.

  • Mamalyn Catering is not liable for allergic reactions if not properly notified.

  • Food should be consumed within 2 hours of delivery or collection.


8. Cancellations & Postponements

  • Corporate Catering

    • More than 5 business days: Full refund (excluding deposit)

    • 3–5 business days: 50% refund (excluding deposit)

    • Less than 3 business days: No refund

  • Parties & Events (including Buffet Styling)

    • More than 14 days: Full refund (excluding deposit)

    • 7–14 days: 50% refund (excluding deposit)

    • Less than 7 days: No refund

  • Deposits: Non-refundable. Store credit may be offered at our discretion, valid for 6 months.

  • Postponements: Subject to availability; cancellation terms apply if rescheduling is not possible.

  • All cancellations must be emailed to hello@mamalyn.com.au.


9. Last-Minute Orders

Orders with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to availability and may incur a 10% surcharge. Please contact us directly for urgent requests.


10. Order Amendments

  • Corporate catering changes must be submitted by 12 PM the business day before delivery.

  • Party & event catering changes must be submitted 7 days before the event.

  • Late changes may not be accepted and could incur additional charges.


11. Post-Delivery Issues

  • Missing items must be reported within 24 hours.

  • No adjustments or refunds will be made after 48 hours.


12. Sunday & Public Holiday Orders

  • Available by request.

  • Minimum spend: $300.


13. Event Photos & Promotions

We may take photos/videos of event setups for marketing. Customers may opt out by emailing hello@mamalyn.com.au before the event.


14. Intellectual Property

All website content, menus, branding, and images are owned by Mamalyn Catering. You may not use or reproduce them without written permission.


15. Reviews & Feedback

By submitting reviews or testimonials, you grant Mamalyn Catering the right to use them for marketing purposes.


16. Disclaimer & Liability

  • We make no guarantees regarding website accuracy.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, third-party couriers, or force majeure events.

  • We are not liable for food safety once items are delivered and outside our control.


17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.


18. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
